1. Service Description

ComplyKit is a web-based accessibility scanning tool that checks websites for WCAG 2.1 Level AA violations and provides AI-powered remediation guidance. Our automated scans check approximately 30–40% of WCAG criteria using the axe-core engine.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use ComplyKit to scan websites you do not own or have authorization to scan.
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits, plan limits, or other usage restrictions.
• Use the service for any illegal purpose or to facilitate illegal activity.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the service.
• Resell or redistribute scan results without an Enterprise plan.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

• Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time through the account settings.
• Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice.

5. Intellectual Property

Scan results and AI-generated fix guides are provided for your use in improving your website's accessibility. You retain ownership of your websites and content. ComplyKit retains ownership of the scanning technology, algorithms, and platform.

6. Limitation of Liability

ComplyKit is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to ADA lawsuits, accessibility complaints, or regulatory penalties. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

7. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
